Product comparison
A quote form asks for a callback. An estimator gives a reason to submit.
Both tools can capture a name and phone number. The difference is what the customer receives immediately and what the sales team knows before the first conversation.
Side-by-side
What changes for the customer and mover.
| Capability | Basic quote form | Move Stamp |
|---|---|---|
| Immediate customer value | Usually a confirmation message | Non-binding planning range and next steps |
| Lead information | Name, phone, email and brief notes | Contact, route, services, property, access and estimate details |
| Inventory | Often collected later | Quick questions or optional photo/video inventory |
| Pricing control | Handled during follow-up | Mover-configured range with human verification |
| Abandonment recovery | Limited unless connected to automation | Lead captured before optional walkthrough; the included follow-up can send a resume link |
| CRM delivery | Depends on the form | Move Stamp workspace plus CRM or webhook delivery |
Protecting value-based selling
The planning range should open the conversation, not finish it.
A mover can still explain crew quality, insurance, protection, packing, access risk and the difference between a preliminary range and the written estimate. Move Stamp is intended to provide context and momentum, not reduce every company to one number.
The customer sees verification language, and the mover can approve or replace the displayed range after reviewing the supplied information.

Comparison FAQ
Should every mover replace its quote form?
Not necessarily. A simple form may be enough when the company already calls every lead immediately and only needs basic contact information. An estimator is more useful when customers expect immediate guidance or the sales team needs more job context.
Will an estimator make customers choose only by price?
It can if the page presents a number without explaining verification, service and value. Move Stamp uses a planning range, not a final guaranteed price, and lets movers keep their own qualification and sales process.
What if a customer will not upload photos?
The quick estimate remains available. Photo and video inventory are optional paths, not a requirement for every lead.
